Jaguar’s iconic D-Type has won the 24 Hours of Le Mans 3 times 1955 to 1957. This program was stopped in 1958. However, the Belzoni brothers offered Jaguar a new, rather original prototype.

First of all, it was much longer. Then she was no longer a proto open but a coupe closed by a bubble. Finally the famous shark fin was refocused slightly to improve aerodynamic balance.
